Challenge #16 at Twofers ~ Shoes!

For the theme this fortnight I chose shoes.  I do love shoes, but I'm not as "shoe crazy" as some people are, I prefer handbags.  Regardless, I am hoping you will have some shoe related stamps and my theme will prompt you to create something to enter.

If you do enter, you will have a chance to win a $20 gift certificate to Alleystamps, who generously sponsors our challenges here at Twofers.

So, get your work boots, your dancing shoes or your dream shoes out and create!

Christi (ooops!)

Winners - Challenge #14 - Anything Goes

Thank you very much for all your lovely entries to our Anything Goes challenge - you made it very, very hard to choose as I really didn't want to leave anyone's entry out! However, after much deliberation, I have narrowed it down to a winner and top three. So, who gets this time's $20 voucher for Alleystamps?

Our winner this time is Debi Ryan whose pocket letter is not just a beautiful piece of art but a lovely gift to send too.

Debi, please email StampinDiva AT yahoo dot com with Winner #14 in the header and Christi will pass on your details to Alleystamps.

Now for the top 3 - in order of entry they are

I'm very sorry I couldn't comment on this beautiful entry as I'm not a member of Split Coast Stampers, but I loved the beautiful colours and the elegant arrangement of the card.
A fun, quirky card with great upcycling of package material

Perfect stamping and a beautiful scene
Winner and top three, please collect your badges from our Badges page and whether you were picked this time or not, many thanks for joining in and making my task so difficult!
And don't forget, you still have almost a week to join in with our current challenge which is Organic.

15 - Organic

We, ChristiJane and I are really enjoying ourselves with this fortnightly challenge.   We love the quality of entries and the fact that we have something of a dedicated following of awesome artists, thank you.   And we have a fantastic sponsor Alleystamps every 2 weeks we get to give a $20 voucher for our favourite.

So this time is it my, Zoe's, choice and the idea that occurred to me is organic.  Organic, something 'living' Plants Animals Insects. Organic as in farming crops and live stock grown without the use of aggressive methods or chemicals. Organic as in something that developes as you go along, not planned and/or placed but rather grows as you continue.  We would also love to know how your organic creation fits our theme.

Here is my sample and the great ideas my teamies have come up with.

As you can see we all went in different directions with this theme, but each of our samples includes stamps and ink and there are no digi stamps.    We are now looking forward to seeing how you go with the flow.

Winners of Challenge #13 ~ Numbers

Thank you ALL for joining in our challenge - all of us here truly appreciate each and every entry.  Yes. I am late with my winners post - forgive me!

Each challenge we are sponsored by the fabulous Alleystamps and are fortunate to be able to give away a gift certificate of $20.

Now comes the tough part - the winner I have chosen for this challenge is:
I love how retro her card is! And she used colors I am so uncomfortable using (neon is just . . . well, neon)!

Please email me at StampinDiva at yahoo dot com with Winner #13 in the heading and I will pass your information on to Janine at Alleystamps.

We got enough entries for me to be able to choose a top 3 so if you are listed below, in no particular order, please help yourself to our badge!

Didn't win?? No fear - right now you can join Jane's Challenge #14 - Anything Goes! Thanks SO much ~ Christi

Challenge #14 - Anything Goes

Jane here - Today it is my turn to choose the theme for the new challenge  and I have chosen a nice, easy one - ANYTHING GOES.  Why not  share your makes with us? It can be absolutely anything at all, as long as it includes some stamping and no digis. And as always, there is a $20 Alleystamps voucher for our favourite. Don't forget, you only need to make ONE item for our challenge, although of course you are free to make more if you wish to.

Now my lovely teamies Christi and Zoe thought I was making it too easy on myself by picking Anything Goes, so they gave me an extra challenge, all of my own. That tasked me to use my very oldest stamp, which in my case is this PSX Celtic Knotwork stamp, one I've used many, many times over the years but had been lying idle for a long time.

To go with it, I chose some very old stash too. In fact, I thought I'd completely lost this paper - I bought it when we were on holiday in Bangkok, way back in about 1998, and lost it as soon as I got home. Eventually I thought I must have thrown it away with the packaging from the souvenirs, a great pity as it was one of two huge, giftwrap-sized sheets, of hand made paper. So I was delighted when my recent craft room declutter produced it, tucked down behind a rarely-moved cabinet.

The paper is so beautiful that the stamped image needed no more embellishment, anything more would have detracted from the lovely paper. So if you discount the 16 years spent trying to find the paper, this was an extremely quick card to make!

If you'd like to use YOUR oldest stamp, too, it would be great fun to see what you unearth, but there is no need to do that (it's just me being nosey and wanting to see what's lurking in your stash).  Here are the Anything Goes cards from the rest of the team

Zoe

Now, before you rush off to make lots and lots of cards and things for this fortnight, let me tell you of one extra little rule that we've introduced for this challenge only. We don't usually have a lot of entries to our challenges, which gives us all time to visit each one and study it properly, and we're a bit worried that by having an "Anything Goes" challenge we might get swamped with entries and not be able to devote as much time to you all. So just for this two weeks, we'd like to see no more than two entries per person, please.

Late edit
We have not had an entry before linking back to a page where you have to be member or give your email address.   As a result we have agreed if any of can comment we will and the entry will get full consideration for the winner and top 3.

Winners Challenge 12 Metal

Thank you for sharing the word about us it was wonderful to have such a selection of good quality entries for my Metal challenge a couple of weeks back.  Time now for me to let you know who won the $20 to spend at Alleystamp our lovely generous sponsor.

We select our winners choosing the entry that appeals to us personally.   That is the important because one persons likes and dislikes differs from the next persons.  I know how I feel sometimes looking at the choices on other challenges when the chosen winners do not seem the best entries to me.   My choices here today may not seem quite right to you, it's ok they might have been different on another day!

If you didn't get selected this time there is always another opportunity, currently we have Christi's Numbers Challenge here.

Our Winner is:

I love the vibrant colour (It is summer in NZ) combined with stamping and texture and the lush gold paint.   A fantastic tag.   Please contact Christi Stampindiva@yahoo.com and she will let you know how to claim your prize.

We also choose our TOP 3 although the main decision is that of the challenge host we often consult on this.   It is so difficult to to make these selections.   But 3 have to be highlighted and this time they are

All fabulous work, thank you for sharing them with us and please take your badges from our badges page.
