Challenge 22 - Tea, Coffee or Me?

Time for a new challenge!   Christi is still recovering but this is her theme for you, Tea, Coffee or Me?

Jane and I had a lot of fun making our inspiration projects for you and hope you will join us.   We are as usual sponsored by Alleystamp who as usual will give the winner a very generous $15 to spend at the shop.

Here are our takes on the theme:

Jane

We really hope this is a theme you will be inspired to join us with, remembering to use a stamp and ink but no digis.

Jane here, back to announce the winners of our Animals challenge. Thank you for all your lovely and creative entries, and thank you to Alleystamp for sponsoring our prize.

Janis, please take your winner's badge from our badges page and  email zoechaos@icloud.com with Twofers Winner in the subject line for your voucher.
As we didn't have very many entries this time, I've chosen a top 2 rather than a top 3 (although our badge still says top 3!) and my picks are

Challenge 21 In Black and White

The year is rolling on and now we have the wonder of long summer days.   This extension of natural light is a gift to us 'artists' trying to make the most of it.   Our friends down under are into Winter now, not that it will stop them making beautiful things.

Back last Winter one of our regulars made, for another challenge, a really smart piece in black and white.   That left me with the idea for this fortnights challenge, In Black and White.   Easy Peasy, Keep it black and white.   Once again our winner will receive $15 voucher for our terrific sponsor Alleystamp.  I shop at Alleystamp and can tell you the prices are great, the service excellent and the owner an angel who takes in abandoned kittens fostering them until their forever home is found.   Even without the great prices I'd support someone who did this.

Just a reminder that while Christi is on her break (hope you are feeling rested and better Hun) We are inviting people to join us as a Guest Designer.  If you would like to please add GDT to your entry name.

Here are my next pair of playing cards:

Jane

How do you see your black and white world please share your creations with us always remembering to include rubber stamping and no digies

Challenge 19 - Asian Winners

Good morning, sorry this is late we are not in the rhythm of not having Christi with us.   We hope you are feeling better Christi everyone misses you and sends you healing thoughts.

Jane's Animals challenge runs for another week and you can enter here.   Don't forget we are inviting people to join us as GDT, just add GDT to your name when you enter the challenge.

Jane and I had to choose a winner of the $15 voucher for  Alleystamp   We decided the one we both liked best would be the winner and then we would have a top pick each.  The reasoning is that our tastes similar in many ways diverged here, and that is something we want to celebrate your and our individuality is something to be treasured.

So our winner this time is:

Congratulations Julye we both love your card please drop me a line at zoechaos@icloud.com with Twofers Winner in the subject line.

Janes Top Pick, on artist two entries and they were both fantastic,
It is you Kathryn Ritter

My top pick is
Gail and her very modern Japanese card

Congratulations to you all, please take you badges from our badges page, if you have not already done so.

Challenge #20 - Animals

I'm going to start today's post with an appeal - unfortunately Christi needs to take a break for a while, which leaves just myself (Jane), and Zoe to look after the blog. So it would be wonderful if we could have a Guest Designer for each fortnightly challenge, at least until Christi is able to come back, and if enough of you are interested, as an ongoing feature from then onwards. I know we have some loyal followers who join in almost every challenge, so it would be great to have you on the team for one of our challenges. If you would like to join us for a challenge (or more than one!) please add GDT after your name when you add your card to the gallery.

Now on to this fortnight's theme, which is Animals. And as usual, for our chosen winner, there will be a $15 voucher from Alleystamp.

Here's my card, made using a Katzelkraft stamp with a sponged background to give a "giraffe skin" appearance. As you can see - and read in my own post - I had no end of trouble taking this photo!

and here is Zoe's contribution - that deck of cards is stacking up very nicely indeed!

Now let's see what animal themed creations you can come up with - and don't forget that, as usual, we want to see some stamping and no digis in your work.

Winners - Body Parts

Good Morning lovely peeps, it is time to tell you who came tops in my Body Parts Challenge.   If you  are looking for our current challenge Asian, which still has a week to run, click here.

First though a little update on our lovely Christi, things have not been too good for her recently and so she is taking a little break to concentrate on recovering.  We are going to miss her but want her to be well.  This means that our fabulous winners will need to contact me for their prize.

To business, we take great pride in the quality and talent our little seems to attract once agin numbers might have been few but each one was a fantastic take on the theme.   One stood out to me very much the sort of thing I love so the winner of a $15 voucher for  Alleystamp is

Congratulations Cornelia your card is fabulous, please email me zoechaos@icloud.com putting Twofers Winner in the subject line.   I'll pass your email along to Alleystamp who will send you your voucher.   Please pick up your winners badge from our badges page.

Challenge #19 - Asian

Our challenge this fortnight is from Christi, and she has chosen ASIAN as the theme but as she's poorly and unable to post, Jane is writing this. As usual, we have a $15 voucher from Alleystamp for our winner.

Don't forget that Asia is a HUGE continent - it stretches all the way from parts of the Middle East to Japan and some of the Pacific Islands, as well as from Russia in the north to Indonesia and the Philippines in the south, so it doesn't have to be just about China and Japan. Having said that, my own card includes Thai paper, a Japanese lady and some Chinese characters, so I've definitely stayed in south-east Asia!

Here are the cards from the rest of the team

Zoe

Christi - will be adding hers very soon

We'd love you to join in - I bet you all have some Asian themed stamps tucked away from a few years ago when they were absolutely everywhere!
